This 26 year old guy from Guwahati, Assam has made it big on his own. He rose to prominence whilst at college at the University of Virginia in the USA, winning the NCAA Singles Championship twice in a row. After graduating from the University of Virginia, he signed with Mamba International where he won the singles titles initially.
Presently as per March 2011 his current ATP ranking is 73.
Also if u may have watched the 2010 Commonwealth Games, u may have noticed he scored 3 Gold & a Bronze in men's singles, doubles & team.

On court the guy moves like silk, seems so effortless, makes me think he was born with a racket in his hand! So focused & attentive, thats the reason when I first saw him playing on TV I couldn't move from my seat. That was the time when I found myself looking through Sports sections every now & then.
